About T Time With Rob
Spill The T. Heal The Heart.

About Rob Dominicci
I’m Rob Dominicci, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and the heart behind T Time With Rob. My path to becoming a therapist wasn’t linear, but it was deeply intentional.

I earned my M.Ed. from Azusa Pacific University in 2010, during a time when the U.S. was deep in recession. School counseling positions were being cut, and despite my passion, I found doors closing before I could step in. After a few challenging years of trying to find my place, I returned to Azusa Pacific to complete the clinical counseling coursework required for LPCC licensure.

At that time, LPCCs were still relatively new in California; most therapy agencies hadn’t even heard of the license, or lacked funding to take on interns like me. Eventually after a couple of years, I got my foot in the door at a local foster care agency, where I worked with children and adults navigating trauma and change. From there, I began working with youth for the last several years.

That journey taught me resilience, patience, and the value of showing up even when the world told me no.
My Approach
There are a lot of therapists out there, and while our methods might overlap, what makes my practice different is, well...me. The lens I bring. The way I gently challenge clients to think about their thinking. The way I hold space with both clarity and grace. I blend evidence-based tools like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a humanistic, conversational approach that helps you connect dots, name your truth, and heal at your own pace.
Who I Serve
I work with adults from all walks of life, and I mean that sincerely. My practice is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves a space where they feel seen, heard, and valued. I hold particular space for LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC clients, not to exclude others, but because these are communities I’m personally connected to and deeply understand.
At the same time, healing is universal. Whether you’re navigating identity, stress, loss, or just trying to figure out what’s next, you’re welcome here. I work with humans; complicated, courageous, messy, beautiful humans. If you’re ready to show up for yourself, I’m ready to meet you where you are.
Why T Time With Rob?
The name? It's layered—just like life. From my understanding, in queer communities, the “T” once stood for truth, then evolved into tea—as in, the realness, the story, the heart of the matter. Here, it also stands for therapy. Sometimes you show up needing one of those. Sometimes all three. Either way, you’re invited to bring your full self to the table. Because here...when we spill the T, we heal the heart.
