Questions & Answers

Starting therapy can bring up… well, a lot of questions and that’s okay. Whether you’re new to therapy, returning after some time, or just curious about how things work here at T Time With Rob, you’re in the right place. Below you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions clients ask. Don’t see what you’re wondering about? Reach out, I'm always happy to chat.

What therapy services do you offer?

I offer individual telehealth therapy for adults, including:

  • LGBTQIA+-affirming therapy

  • BIPOC-centered support

  • CBT and humanistic therapy for anxiety, depression, and life transitions

  • Trauma-informed care

  • Stress management and mindfulness

  • Solution-focused coaching & short-term goal setting

Sessions are 30, 50, and initial 90-minute formats based on your needs.

How can I schedule a therapy session?

You can book a session by using the contact form on this site or emailing me directly at rob@ttimewithrob.com. I’ll respond within 1–2 business days with next steps and available times. If you're a new client, I’ll also send an intake questionnaire to complete before our first session.

What should I expect during therapy?

Whether it’s your first session or your fifth, therapy with me is a collaborative, judgment-free space. In our 90-minute intake session, we’ll explore what’s bringing you in, your background, and your goals. In ongoing sessions (30 or 50 minutes), we’ll work at your pace using a blend of evidence-based tools and open dialogue. My role is to support, not fix, and help you navigate life with more clarity, resilience, and self-compassion.

Do you offer telehealth only?

Yes. I provide 100% virtual therapy using secure, HIPAA-compliant video sessions. No commute, no waiting room; just you, me, and your favorite cup of tea.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes: I accept select insurance plans through third-parties . Feel free to contact me via email at rob@ttimewithrob.com.

How much do sessions cost?

90-minute intake session: $170

50-minute individual session: $115

30-minute check-in: $ $70

I also offer sliding scale rates for cash clients ($70–$100 for 50-minute sessions) based on the honor system. Just ask about availability.

How often do we meet?

Most clients meet weekly or every other week. I’ll work with you to find a rhythm that fits your needs and schedule.

What is your cancellation policy?

I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged the full session fee.

What if I am in crisis?

I’m not a crisis therapist and may not be immediately available between sessions. If you’re in danger or need urgent support, call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), text HOME to 741741, or dial 911 for immediate help.
